CASTLE MALTING BISCUIT, EBC 45-55 

Unik og helt spesiell belgisk malt. Lett i ovn, deretter lett torrefisert ved opptil 160°C. 

Château Biscuit® malt gir en veldig "toasty" finish i ølet. Gir et varmt brød og kjeksaktig aroma og smak. Fremmer en lys til middels varm brunfarge på mesken.

Denne malten brukes for å forbedre den stekte smaken og aromaen som kjennetegner øl og pils som gir de subtile egenskapene til svart- og sjokolademalt. Ingen enzymer. Må meskes sammen med malt som har et overskudd av diastatisk kraft. 

Kan brukes i alle spesialøl og også for engelsk øl, brown ale og porters. Opptil 25 % av blandingen.

Unique and very special Belgian malt. Lightly kilned, then lightly torrefied at up to 160°C.

Château Biscuit® malt produces a very pronounced "toasty" finish in the beer. Imparts a warm bread andbiscuit-like aroma and flavour. Promotes a light to medium warm brown colour of the mash. This malt is usedto improve the roasted flavour and aroma that characterize ales and lagers lending the subtle properties ofblack and chocolate malts. No enzymes. Must be mashed with malts having a surplus of diastatic power.

All special beers and as well for English ales, brown ales and porters. Up to 15% of the mix.

Malt should be stored in a clean, cool (< 22 °C) and dry (< 35 RH %) area.
